Occupational Health Nurse RN for Long Beachin GAC Long Beach Unique Skills: The compensation range for this role is $87,000-100,000 per year. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors including but not limited to: minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, and location. About Our Group Our main team sits at our company headquarters in Savannah, Georgia and have Occupational Heath Care nurses at our different sites across the country. Our nurses are responsible for supporting our employees and the organization when it comes to FAA and OSHA regulations at each site-specific location. About the Role The position is located at our Mesa, Arizona location. The work week is a Monday through Friday but may need to work outside standard work schedule for an emergency or event as needed. The day to day consists of managing workers compensation claims with a 3rd party administrator, FAA drug and alcohol testing, and eye exams, but is not limited to. Even though this position is a part of a larger organization, this role will be a stand alone at the Mesa site. Person must feel comfortable being autonomous and making decisions within the guidelines of the company. Ideal candidate would have around 4-7 years of experience. Occupational nursing experience is a plus. Experience with FAA regulations a plus. Required Must be licensed in California. Education and Experience Requirements
Associate's Degree in health sciences or related field required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. 4 years general nursing experience. Occupational Health experience preferred. Registered Professional Nurse in the State of employment.
Position Purpose:
Provide Occupational Health Care Services according to the Gulfstream Medical Program. Coordinate medical services required. for the safety and proper placement of employees, the treatment of work-related illnesses and injuries, and approved industrial preventative medical programs. Job Description
