This is an onsite position that can be based out of Lake City or Lakeville, Minnesota and will include up to 25% travel. OurAutomation Systems Technician supports Hearth & Home Technologies' digital transformation initiatives across all sites by implementing, managing, and troubleshooting Operations Technology solutions with a primary focus on Building Management Systems (BMS). Your role as an Automation Systems Technician: Troubleshoot and maintain electrical, electro-mechanical, and BMS systems to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operation. Develop solutions to automate tasks, create custom functions, improve visualizations, and streamline data processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and adaptability. Proactively test and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve automation, efficiency, and data integration, working closely with the engineering team around implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pilot emerging solutions, ensuring they align with operational goals and safety standards. Education & Experience 2-year technical degree in an Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in automation and Operations Technology systems. Experience with Ignition development, SQL databases, industrial hardware (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, Maple, Omron, Mitsubishi), and programming languages (Python).
