Responsible for ensuring that all Stock Control and Audit functions are performed adequately and within required timeframes. Leads the stock control team members, and monitors attendance, production and adherence to policies and procedures. Monitors staffing levels, and overtime, ensuring the department remains within guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with staff to complete departmental workload. Performs other reasonably related duties that may be assigned.
  • Oversees functions including cycle counts, sweeps, stock control adjustments, end of the line audit, product/location set up/moves, recalls, RTVs (Return to Vendors), and product identification.
  • Responsible for test count and month end cutoff preparation and requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Stock Control and Audit functions are performed adequately and within required timeframes.
  • Oversees product moves to ensure that space is best utilized to slot product.
  • Reviews space management reports.
  • Responsible for ensuring stock control reports are reconciled, including variance, expired products, negative on hand, and locked cells. Ensures that detailed investigation and explanations are provided for all stock control adjustments.
  • Ensures that new products are set up and existing products placed in the most appropriate locations in an efficient and timely manner. Oversees back order/sequence process and handling of production calls for location discrepancies.
  • Responsible for maintaining a complete understanding of all Stock Control functions and how these functions affect the other functions within the Facility.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Overall knowledge of warehousing functions with a strong understanding of the Stock Control.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, Micro soft excel and PickPRO and experience using AS400 or similar QAD system.
  • Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions
  • Intermediate math and logic skills required

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 4 or more years of related experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Bachelor's degree preferred.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
