*IMMEDIATE MEDICAL BILLER/MEDICAL BILLING ANALYST JOB OPPORTUNITY*
*OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST NON PROFITS IN THE AREA* *LONG TERM JOB OPPORTUNITY WITH ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT* *HYBRID SCHEDULE OFFERED - 3 DAYS REMOTE 2 DAYS IN OFFICE* *MONDAY - FRIDAY 8AM-5PM* *$28/HR* *Qualifications:* * 3 years of Medical billing/medical billing analyst experience * Experience processing claims and denials * Experience working with EMR systems and billing software * Excellent communication skills * Microsoft Excel skills *Description* * Prepare and manage billings for all JASA Services OMH Article 31 licensed programs * Ensure all billings were received and processed within required time frames * Address denials in a timely manner and resubmit claims or appeals * Collaborate with program leadership and clinical staff to ensure all information needed is collected and entered (contact providers to obtain and enter authorizations, diagnosis codes, member IDs) * Prepare a weekly collectability status report. Follow up on aging receivables and claims paid short * Update shared department reports * Reconcile billing with cash received * Prepare medical billing accrual report and entry to be entered in accounting system. * Analyze accruals vs. actual billing and payments * Perform other duties as required A Day In the Role: * This role involves medical billing AND analyzing data - must be proficient in Excel (pivot tables), analytical * Run revenue cycle daily * Follow-up on denials, why being denied - provide solution to bill again * Once the billing is done, run accounting reports EACH MONTH * Analyze the data, and see what needs to be done * Get the cash report from the accounting system and compare the report from SAGE to the billing report from the billing system * Analyze the data, see what the differences are... * Reconcile the cash we receive *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
