Job Purpose
The team is responsible for product management, support and system training for the Interactive Network (iN) and FieldLink portals. iN is a suite of 12 dealer communication portals consisting of 1,700+ applications. Both domestic and export dealers/distributors (5900+) use iN daily to send and receive critical communication to/from Honda. Unique portals exist for each of AHM and HdM brands including Honda auto, Acura, Motorcycle, PE, Marine and Engine. Over 100,000 users from every dealer business area (e.g. sales, service, finance etc.) and 3,000+ Honda Motor Company associates use iN to support their business. FieldLink (FL) is AHM's field portal designed to support our auto sales field staff. The portal provides them with a window into the daily operations of their assigned dealerships. FieldLink is used daily by DSM's, field management and national staff to access dealer level reports and critical business information.
The Product Lead collaborates with AHM business units and ISD to manage and improve Honda's dealer communication portals (iN) as well as the sales field portal (FieldLink). Responsibilities include prioritizing projects, evaluating and responding to all dealer suggestions, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), providing optimal solutions for new and existing requests, providing business users with consulting services / recommendations, and oversight of content and applications contained within these portals.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with Honda and Acura auto sales & Honda de Mexico business stakeholders as well as ISD to deliver content to our portal users that support the goals and objectives of AHM
- Prioritize and implement enhancements/major projects that support the business needs of our end users
- Work closely with business units, ISD and 3rd party vendors to investigate and resolve reported issues that have an impact on our end users ability to conduct business
- Product Management of critical iN initiatives as well as applications owned by iN Technology team (i.e. Dealer Dashboard, Model Color Matrix, What's New on iN newsletter)
- Provide business units with analysis of iN usage to help them make informed business decisions
- Conduct UAT to ensure the successful launch of new applications and web portal enhancements
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent work-related experience
- 3-5 years project management experience
- Experience with B2B portals
- 1 year of product development experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to oversee and prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Organized, analytical and detail oriented
