Wire & Conduit Assembler



  • Up to $1,000 Sign on Bonus
  • Starting wage: up to $21 per hour
  • Annual bonus of $2,400
  • Leveling program and annual merit increase
  • Monday - Friday work schedule (5:00 AM - 1:00 PM)

Minimum Requirements



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Flexibility to work OT during busy periods
  • Ability to work from 3:30 pm to midnight
  • Basic computer system knowledge
  • Previous forklift experience is a plus


Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Receive training and equipment certifications to process wire/conduit inbound and outbound operations safely and effectively.
  • Inbound Operations:

    • Receive in master spools of wire and master bundles of conduit
    • Put away master spools of wire and master bundles of conduit
    • Verify amounts of materials or items received
    • Report overages, shorts, and damaged inbound material
    • Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated locations
    • Mark materials with identifying information
    • Replenish forward pick locations
    • Cycle count locations to verify inventory accuracy
    • Use a variety of forklift equipment


  • Outbound Operations:


    • Cut wire to customer specified length
    • Parallel multiple conductors of wire onto wood and metal reels
    • Stack multiple parallels onto our new Simpull reels
    • Mount pull heads to the ends of conductors
    • Pick, pack, and ship conduit
    • Identify proper specifications for outbound customer orders
    • Manually setup wire cutting machines to order specifications
    • Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of wire cutting machines for proper setup and operation
    • Inspect product for defectives
    • Minimize scrap through proper operation and maintenance of machines
    • Operate a variety of wire pulling machines, forklifts, and hand tools in order to fill customer orders
    • Communicate problems with machine operation and setup to Team Lead/Supervisor
    • Pack, weigh, and verify customer orders
    • Use computer to enter records or reference stock
    • Maintain cleanliness of facility and equipment
    • Other related duties as assigned.
