The Manager of Regulatory, EHS & Insurance monitors the company's production activities at all levels and ensures compliance with applicable government regulations both external and internal. Identify the need for new regulatory policies, processes, SOPs and risk mitigation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRegulatory Task:Research and monitor state to state compliance regulations for all scopes of work Perform documented Risks Assessments, and Risk Mitigation Monitor and document OSHA reportingValidate OSHA requirements are metIE. Silica Dust exposure - PPE used to mitigateIE. LOTO properly usedIE. Forklift CertificationsIE. Rigging CertificationsIE. Paint Booth/Respirator ComplianceLaunch environmental protection programFollow-up on any environmental violations EHS Tasks:Champion monthly EHS Meetings / Heavy emphasis on review of safety incidents for the last monthWeekly Safety message to the entire field teamImmediate follow-up for Safety related events / issuesOSHA reporting based upon safety events as needed Generate CARS as required to document safety incidents and follow-up corrective actions Document safety near missesOversee/monitor Safety training ProgramCreate a Field/Warehouse Safety Audit ProgramParticipate in Client EHS audits Maintain Material Data Sheets Program Maintain PPE ProgramAnnual EHS Program facilitation & testingComplete Job Safety Analysis formsDosimeter process (radiation exposure tracking)Insurance Tasks:Manage companies' global insurance portfolio, including renewals, claims processing and coordination with brokers and insuredsFacilitate/coordinate with Broker/Carrier requests for site visits, auditsFollow up with any Carrier recommendationsWork closely with managers/employees on claim information/follow-upMaintain claims listing, summary of program, follow up with Insurance InvoicingManage Certificate of Insurance
Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma At least 2 years of regulatory or EHS research experienceExcellent research and data analysis skillset a mustExcellent communication skillsComputer data entry skillsWorks well in a team environmentPossess great attention to detailPreferred Education and Experience:Bachelors degreePrevious managerial experience preferredWORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
