SUMMARY:

Oversees and supports the operating policies and procedures of the banking centers through in-market visits to the banking centers. Works in direct coordination of the Branch Operations Market Manager and the District Sales Manager to ensure effectiveness of operating procedures within the banking centers. Coaches and mentors banking center staff on service and operations activities through regular branch visits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partners with the District Sales Manager to ensure operational performance meets expectations and works together on improvement opportunities.

Performs in-market visits to all assigned banking centers at least quarterly. Banking centers needing more assistance may be visited more frequently.

Assists the banking centers with completion of the self-assessment.

Provides a progress report to the District Sales Manager for each branch visit including areas of improvement for the banking center.

Monitors and manages the banking center scorecard for assigned branches. Accountable for the scorecard performance within each assigned banking center.

Responsible for sharing the scorecard and collaborating with the District Manager on performance deficiencies within the scorecard.

Serves as the in-market expert on all banking center operating procedures, policies and regulations.

Provides in branch training and assistance on service and operational items.

Observes service orientation within the banking center during visits and provides coaching for improvement.

Serves as the assistant security officer for assigned banking centers.

Makes suggestions for process improvement based on observations during interaction with the banking centers. Works with the in-market team and the Branch Operations Market Manager on these recommendations.

Provides documentation for procedural, policy and regulation violations as needed for disciplinary action.

Attends job family, banking center manager and market meetings to ensure involvement in strategy and focus.

Attends community events and participates in market activities as needed.

Other duties may be assigned.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of FIS IBS Insight and Sales and Service applications preferred.

Ability to effectively use technological resources for meetings, coaching, and training.

Understanding of branch operating policies and procedures.

Must to be able to travel to all assigned banking centers at least quarterly and some banking centers more frequently as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or Finance preferred.

Minimum of five years banking experience including branch experience.

Demonstrated leadership ability and skills.
