Senior Staff Engineer

What you'll do:

• Develop/Enhance solutions using existing platforms or assess the need for a new platform.
• Create and implement elegantly coded and effectively tuned solutions that enable high performance and ease of maintenance.
• Optimize queries and reports utilized within the platform.
• Build, maintain, and extend data models, design documents, project plan.
• Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to gain a working understanding of business requirements and operational processes.
• Support the investigation and troubleshooting of complex business issues.

What you'll need:

• 7+ years' of development and/or implementation experience using modern technologies.
• 4+ years' development experience implementing COTS solutions for banks.
• 2+ Years' experience acting as a technical lead, scrum master, or similar responsibility.
• 2+ years' creating controls and documentation including technical specifications, estimation documents, and architectural documents.
• Ability to quickly dissect and fix issues working with other team members.
• Code proficiency in one or more of modern programming language (Python, Perl, Java, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of design tools such as Visio, Lucidchart.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure DevOps. Jira, ServiceNow, DevOps tools.
• Knowledge of Cloud based systems and integration with SaaS applications.
• Working knowledge of the QRM platform and its functional capabilities.
• Experience with financial modeling and liquidity risk solution implementations.
• Knowledge of ETL concepts and large volume data handling between systems.
• Knowledge of mathematical calculations to summarize and aggregate large volumes of data.
• Working knowledge of BI / Reporting Tools (i.e., Tableau, Power BI, PowerApps).
• Banking, financial services or other highly regulated industry experience.
