THE JOB:
The Aria is seeking a Barista to join our team! As a Barista, you'll be at the forefront of creating unforgettable guest experiences by handcrafting signature beverages, preparing quick-serve food items, and delivering exceptional service. You'll showcase your passion for coffee, precision in service, and hospitality in every guest interaction. THE STARTING RATE: $16.3097 THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in work station, counters, tables, etc.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
One year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced environment Experience in a coffeehouse environment as barista One year of guest service experience Cash handling experience with point-of-sale (POS) system Takes pride in their work Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences Describes themselves as detail-oriented Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression Can handle multiple tasks at one time Ability to work varied schedule, including weekends and holidays
