Overview

Bancroft is a leading service-provider for those in need of neurological rehabilitation.

We are looking for motivated Brain Injury Specialists for our NeuroRehab program located in Mt. Laurel, NJ that are passionate about providing quality care in a positive and empathetic manner. Our Brain Injury Specialists must have a strong desire to work with people recovering from traumatic brain injury (TBI), acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions.

About Bancroft's NeuroRehab Program:

For those requiring supervised living, Bancroft NeuroRehab offers an array of residential group homes and apartments in attractive communities throughout central New Jersey. Services include customized supervision, access to social, recreational and spiritual activities, behavioral programming and more. We provide transportation to and from day programs, outpatient rehabilitation services, medical appointments and community activities.



Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of a licensed Psychologist, provides direct, consultative, and supportive assessment and therapeutic services in neuropsychology to persons served, staff members, and outpatients to contribute to the enhancement of individual potential for learning and to meet the specific rehabilitation needs of persons served.



Qualifications

Pre-doctorate Intern: Current enrollment in an approved graduate program in Psychology required.

Post-doctorate Fellow: Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Psychology, or a related psychological field required with a current and valid N.J. State temporary permit in Psychology.

Special Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate medical information, test results, diagnoses and/or proposed treatment in a manner easily understood is required. Knowledge of psychosocial counseling techniques, educational development test administration and interpretation, and interviewing and psychological/developmental assessment skills required. Knowledge of state and federal laws, regulations, policies, and standards pertaining to the provision of psychosocial services to disabled individuals required. Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required with a strong desire to work with neurologically-challenged individuals. Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team required. Ability to implement crisis intervention techniques required. Attainment of CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Prevention and Intervention certification within first 90 days of employment required. Valid driver's license required in incumbent's legal name and current address with no provisional restrictions. Minimum 18 years of age required.
