Job Overview:

The Grant Compliance & Data Coordinator for the IRC in Atlanta will work with the Deputy Director of Programs to maintain a portfolio of grants in the Atlanta offices while supporting post-award grant management. The Coordinator will ensure compliance with donor/grant requirements, create and pull data reports, track outcome progress, and ensure data quality through regular quality assurance. This role supports the overall business development and strategic goals of the organization.

Major Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Grant Compliance

  • Support the coordination of grant opening, mid-cycle, and grant closing meetings for every funded opportunity with support of the Deputy Director for Integration Programs.
  • Assist with award modifications, including scope modifications, extensions and amendments.
  • Support the effective maintenance of contractual and grant files for each funded program with consistent documentation standards.
  • Work closely with program managers, local finance and IRC headquarters staff to ensure timely submission of narrative invoices and reports to public and private donors.
  • Coordinate with Finance for compliance of required financial reporting, invoices, monitoring, and partnership financial management.
  • Support grant and sub-award programmatic compliance with IRC and local, state, and federal donor/funder requirements.
  • Act as the programmatic compliance focal point by providing guidance and advice on the processing/implementing of new and ongoing awards, IRC internal policies and donor rules and regulations.
  • Support program managers/supervisors with the development and implementation of action plans to address programmatic compliance related findings.
  • Provide training and support to program or other staff related to donor compliance, partnership and sub-award processes, and IRC regulations.
  • Participate in IRC Communities of Practice and other networking and professional development opportunities.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures, and protocols of the IRC.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Data Management & Quality Assurance

  • Support monitoring of grant deliverables utilizing and developing internal tracking systems and tools and provide regular updates to senior leadership team.
  • Collaborate with program staff to ensure timely entry of client demographics, intakes, services, follow-ups, referrals; business statistics; training and screening outcomes into systems;
  • Support program managers with developing internal quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes and activities; support program managers/supervisors in conducting periodic, internal QA/QC checks.
  • Work with relevant teams to support the collection of programmatic data to support strategic initiatives and inform and improve proposal development, program quality, program design and donor reporting.
  • Support offices to be "audit ready" at all times; support program teams in preparation for announced audits/monitoring from local, state, federal funders/donors.

Job Requirements:

Education: Undergraduate degree with certification or continuing education in data management, monitoring and evaluation, compliance and/or public administration is a strong plus.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in fiscal quality assurance, program evaluation, or related analytical experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in monitoring and evaluation, grant reporting, and monitoring/audits.

Demonstrated Skills & Competencies:

  • Demonstrated ability to promote an organizational culture that reflects IRC's core values of service, accountability, integrity, and equality. Ability to lead in a way that recognizes that IRC's work is best accomplished through the true collaboration of individuals from many cultures with a great variety of skills and perspectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and working with data management tools (including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Power Automate)
  • Excellent writing, research, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with grants processes of government funding agencies at the federal, state, or county level.
  • Familiarity with non-profit budgeting and BVAs is preferred.
  • Project management experience with demonstrated ability to helpteams complete tasks on time and prioritize work within tight deadlines.
  • Self-directed but with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with partners and colleagues in various global environments and contexts.

Working Environment:

  • A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and 'field' time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities.
  • May require occasional weekend and/or evening work.

Compensation: Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
