Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in TSQL and Azure Data Factory. This role is hybrid with no travel required. You will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that align with our companys goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data solutions using TSQL and Azure Data Factory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and processing.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve system performance.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and cleansing procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members on data-related projects.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data architecture and engineering.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data solutions including design specifications and user guides.
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities to ensure timely delivery of data solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and innovations.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations in all data-related activities.

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in TSQL and Azure Data Factory.
• Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exhibit strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Show proficiency in designing and implementing scalable data solutions.
• Have experience with data validation and cleansing procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about data security and privacy regulations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data architecture.
• Have experience in project planning and estimation activities.
• Be capable of providing technical guidance and support to team members.
• Possess strong documentation skills for data solutions.
• Be able to conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Demonstrate the ability to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.

Certifications Required

Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Maintenance: Application Expiration Date: 2/27/2025

The annual salary for this position is between $125,000 - $140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
