Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join the team of IT professionals in a role. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are in search of an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for new features and improvements to insurance, supplement insurance, and finance systems.
• Collaborate with partners (business users, developers, testers) to ensure an exchanged views of requirements and translate them into user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Conduct data analysis to understand data structures, data flow, and data quality within existing systems and propose solutions for data integration and reporting needs.
• Design and document data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical models, considering security and integration requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with collaborators to capture requirements, resolve issues, and ensure alignment on project goals.
• Support the development team during the implementation phase, clarifying requirements and answering inquiries.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in insurance, finance, and data architecture, and apply this knowledge to improve processes and solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Validated experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably in the finance domain within the insurance industry.
• Good understanding of insurance products, particularly supplemental insurance offerings.
• Validated expertise in data modeling techniques and tools.
• Proficiency in eliciting and detailing business requirements using various methods (e.g., user stories, use cases, process flows).
• Experience with data analysis.
• Proficiency in system integration principles and standard methodologies for security.
• Superb communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for the position is between $89,100- $140,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
