CMM Programmer/Operator

Role

PDW is seeking a CMM Programmer / Operator to join our team, contributing to the Quality Assurance program. The ideal candidate will thrive working in an innovative and fast-paced work environment, have excellent critical thinking skills, and will play a pivotal role in assuring product conformity to PDW's end users.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and execute CMM programs using PC-DMIS software to inspect and verify part dimensions.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine inspection requirements.
• Perform first-article inspections, in-process checks, and final inspections to ensure product quality.
• Utilize GD&T principles to conduct precise measurements and identify deviations.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address dimensional and quality issues.
• Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Generate detailed inspection reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuously improve CMM programming and inspection processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Adhere to company quality standards and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CMM Programmer & Operator.
• Proficiency in PC-DMIS software.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and applications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and tools.
• Familiarity with Standard Measuring Instruments (Micrometers, Calipers, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of ISO and AS9100 standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team environment.

ITAR Requirement
