This position would involve working with a range of techniques including CRISPR screening, protein purification, cell culture and in vitro assays. This position is ideal for a candidate with a background in biochemistry, genetics, or cell biology who is interested in gaining further experience in an academic laboratory working at the boundary of multiple disciplines. There would be an emphasis on developing skills that would make the applicant competitive for both academic and industry roles. General responsibilities would involve designing and executing experiments, recording data, and interpreting findings. More information about the Guna lab can be found at https://www.gunalab.org.
