The Operational Training Administrator oversees the administrative functions of training programs. This includes developing and implementing training materials, scheduling sessions, monitoring participant progress, maintaining training records, and ensuring adherence to training policies. They also facilitate effective communication among trainers, participants, and relevant stakeholders, while assisting in the promotion of safety awareness training programs.
Position Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Support programs and procedures to meet facility objectives and targets. Key focus points include:
Accident Prevention
EHS Regulatory Compliance
Waste Minimization
Train new staff members on RWC DC PCD's which include but not limited to the following:
Forklift training and certifications of new staff members and recertifications
Operation of RWC Scanners used within the Distribution Center
Basic SAP transaction codes and functions
Pick/pack functionality using RF Scanners
Proper methods required to pack out and label cartons and pallets for shipment.
Material handling function within the warehouse using RF scanners.
Maintain necessary EHS records.
Ensure compliance with Corporate EHS Policy and Directives.
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Expertise:
This position will be in an office and warehouse environment with occasional project-based travel required.
Can work independently.
Excellent communication and computer skills.
Creative ability to ensure the safety of employees, and the environment while meeting the needs of production.
Ability to plan and implement EHS programs.
Strong presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively with management as well as with associates from the floor.
Must be able to travel and work out of the office. 5%-20% Travel - minimal travel required
Need to safely perform all duties.
Create a schedule of regular evaluation of the facilities.
Ensure the safety of the building or establishment from fire, flood, and other hazards.
Initiate an active campaign on safety measures in the building.
Develop staff development programs such as skills enhancement trainings and sessions.
Preferred working knowledge of EHS and OSHA regulations
Excellent vision, hearing, speech, and motor skills are required to perform essential functions of the job.
Able to walk, bend, stoop, and stand for up to eight hours a day.
Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Required to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
This position will be primarily in a warehouse, manufacturing plant, and other locations.
Job requires both sitting and standing and agile flexibility to move and connect equipment in various set-ups.
