Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a supportive and organized individual to join our Aftermarket team. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining team metrics, managing team performance, defining priorities based on backlog demand, fostering team growth through development, and maintaining on time delivery within market expected lead times in a manufacturing facility. An Aftermarket Supervisor works with a team to ensure aftermarket sales orders are scheduled, picked/packaged, and shipped while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detailed, a problem solver and can meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities:


  • Aftermarket:

    • Direct and accurately schedule the flow of work across the spare parts area per OTD metrics daily

    • Ensure production pace is maintained to meet customer demand

    • Forecast business volume

    • Ship orders including LTL shipments and parcel shipments through JDE, Pfastship, and Recon



  • Leadership:

    • Orient, train, assign, and validate the work of the team

    • Conduct quarterly 9-Block meetings and annual performance reviews for all direct reports

    • Manage team members responsible for scheduling, outside services, and work order management

    • Implement and manage Continuous Improvement (CI) and lean tools (i.e. 5s, RRCA, Standard Work, etc.)

    • Measure performance based on necessary KPIs and metrics



  • Communication:

    • Provide timely feedback related to production schedules and expedites to Customer Service

    • Manage staffing to meet the business volume needs



  • Inventory Management:

    • Ensure inventory of aftermarket products and parts are maintain and organized

    • Confirm stock levels are monitored



  • Documentation:

    • Complete aftermarket logs and other required paperwork accurately

    • Report on aftermarket and spares business and report on KPI's measuring the business

    • Record required data and records for the area (i.e. attendance, turn backs, productivity, etc.)

    • Document any issues, defects, or deviations from standard procedures



  • Training and Development:

    • Participate in training programs to improve aftermarket skills and product knowledge

    • Ensure team members attend monthly EHS trainings

    • Ensure all policies and procedures (i.e. report on time and ready to work - Start/Lunch/Breaks)



  • Quality Control:

    • Help ensure employees have accurate information to execute processes

    • Perform quality checks by established quality procedures and ISO requirements



  • Safety Compliance:

    • Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

    • Report any safety hazards or incidents

    • Lift a maximum of 35lbs for an individual and 70 lbs for a team lift

    • Test PSI limit no greater than 30,000





Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment with 3 years of supervisory experience

  • Experience improving/maintaining On-Time-Delivery (OTD)

  • Demonstrated time management skills, strategic thinking, and adaptability

  • Proficient computer knowledge (i.e. log on credentials (SSO), JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel)

  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs



Core Competencies:


  • Fully site based

  • Climate controlled manufacturing plant

  • Protective eyewear and footwear required



Preferences:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or Business related degree, a plus

  • Lean experience (5s, RRCA, Standard Work etc.), preferred

  • Knowledge of UPS and FedEx system, preferred



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:

This position will be based at our Ivyland, PA office, with minimal anticipated travel.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000, excluding incentive opportunities. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
