Supply Planning Analyst

Analyst, Supply Planning: Become the Newest Member of Kontoor Brands

The primary responsibilities are to ensure the style color/size supply and demand match for approximately 300-400 style/colors and/or styles with a forecast volume of approximately 3-4 million units/year. Understanding the need to balance inventory levels and Manufacturing efficiency expectations to meet customer expected service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures on-time shippability working with Purchasing, Forecasting and Planning Manager to develop style/size level plans that support production schedules and forecast requirements. Monitor Logility Supply Planner (SP) planned production, requesting fabric exceptions or expedited maker production as needed to ensure on-time shippability while maintaining quality of inventory at the style/color/size levels.
  • Act as a liaison between Operations Manufacturing or Sourcing locations, releasing production orders/requests based on Logility SP recommendations. Ensure reasonable fabric availability to support releases. Ensure releases support the plant capacity schedules and package receipt plans. Monitor and work with internal divisions and Regional Sourcing offices on late production flow to develop recovery plan.
  • Analyze, report, review and resolve Net Position shortages with Manufacturing, Customer Service and Regional sourcing offices personnel as needed and at Net Position or Business team meetings
  • Maintain optimum inventory levels at the style and size level by application of appropriate inventory service levels and capacity review with Planning Manager. Monitor seasonal type/color production to minimize the risk of off-price finished goods and/or surplus piece goods.
  • Monitor and maintain sufficient fabric inventory levels at the plants to support production plans and minimize surplus and storage issues. Request exceptions to Purchase Plan as needed for Fabric and Trim.
  • Establish and maintain proper settings in SAP for Product Life Cycle, Planning indictors, fabric ranking and plant priorities to ensure proper master data is feeding to Logility SP to utilize in the system planning process.
  • Coordinate with Master Data and business partners to ensure timely set up and completion of new materials to allow for production to begin on time to service demand signal.

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field, or equivalent experience- Supply Chain focus preferred
  • Experience in a business-related field with a proven record of success
  • Fully trained in Supply Planning
