We are inviting highly qualified senior graduate students and current postdocs to apply to attend a two-day, all-expenses-paid recruiting event at Rutgers and explore postdoctoral training opportunities in neuroscience and brain health research at BHI. With 300+ laboratories, 33 departments, and 14 schools, BHI has one of the highest concentrations of neuroscience and brain health research labs in the world. BHI fosters neuroscience and brain health research through its Centers of Excellence in autism, addiction, Alzheimer disease, computational neuropsychiatry and advanced human brain imaging. Rutgers offers excellent training in basic, translational and clinical neuroscience, mentorship from leading experts, and outstanding support for professional growth and career success. More than fifteen well-funded labs across Rutgers, in multiple areas of neuroscience and brain health research, are actively looking to recruit postdocs at this event. Company The goal of the Brain Health Institute (BHI) is to develop neuroscience at Rutgers to become a highly translational and internationally preeminent research enterprise. New tools are transforming neuroscience, and these afford an unprecedented opportunity to create new treatments for central nervous system disorders. Neuroscience has been identified by Rutgers University as one of five signature areas for future focus and development. As part of this strategic plan, the BHI was established to become an internationally recognized center for basic, translational, and clinical research into the biological bases of human brain function and dysfunction.
