DoD SkillBridge, Pilot Location: Denver, CO Full-Time, Temporary About the Skillbridge Internship Program: Calvert Systems is proud to be an approved partner under the DoD SkillBridge Program under DoD Instruction 1322.29. The Calvert Systems SkillBridge Internship Program is an opportunity for transitioning military service members to gain valuable, civilian, work experience through an individual internship during their last 6 months of service, for up to 180 days. This program is open to all ranks and experience levels. SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from Calvert Systems, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members. During this program the service member will be required for a full-time schedule equivalent to 40 hours per week. SkillBridge Internship Program Goals: Offer transitioning service members skilled and experienced training that they will be able to use in the civilian workforce. SkillBridge Interns will serve as a pipeline for regular, full-time employment opportunities at Calvert Systems. SkillBridge Internship Program Objectives: Service Members completing the Internship program will be introduced to Calvert Systems' Mission, Vision and Values while being fully trained on how we execute to create long-lasting relationships, achieve company growth initiatives, and overall successes for us and our customers. As a SkillBridge Intern, you will gain advanced training in flight test operations, aviation systems integration, and regulatory compliance, enabling the applicant to work toward certification as an FAA Designated Engineering Representative (DER) Pilot and pursue employment with an FAA Organization Designation Authorization.
