Patient Care Tech

Job Description:
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, the Patient Care Tech provides direct patient care and support, assisting with daily activities and routine procedures, including:

• Assisting patients with personal hygiene, mobility, and nutritional needs.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs and patient intake/output.
• Preparing patients for medical procedures and assisting healthcare providers.
• Responding promptly to patient calls and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and equipment.
• Supporting patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Ensuring compliance with patient safety protocols and hospital policies.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Current KY Nurse Aide Certification or completion of the first year of a nursing program with validated clinical rotation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
