Job Summary The Configuration/Document Control Specialist is responsible for effectively tracking, logging, categorizing, and maintaining changes made against product drawings and other program documentation. The Configuration/Document Control Specialist will develop, distribute, and track all change packages. Must be a U.S. citizen This is an onsite position located in Orlando, Florida. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks Control product drawings throughout the release and change process. Plan and coordinate system configuration activities for timely completion. Maintain configuration management documentations for reference purposes. Develop process improvements to enhance documentation configuration and control efficiency. Assist in developing tools to support daily document configuration and control management activities. Follow and enforce configuration management policies and practices. Analyze and resolve configuration problems in a timely fashion. Communicate configuration discrepancies to Management for immediate resolutions. Ensure that system configuration is executed in accordance with customer needs. Assist in configuration audits and implement audit recommendations. Support corporate standardization initiatives such as ISO and CMMI. Operate/ Update Configuration Management software and databases. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Completion of a full course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a Bachelor's or higher degree in business, management, leadership, engineering, or a related field. Essential Mental Requirements Exceptional organizational skills are required. Strong computer proficiency is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Possesses a technical writing capability.
