Leading manufacturer is looking for an experienced and results-driven Purchasing Manager with a strong background in managing international sourcing operations, specifically across key Asian markets. You would oversee a team of 7 inventory, sourcing and other purchasing support personnel.

Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement multi-year procurement strategies, leading cost management, contract negotiations, and risk mitigation for assigned categories.
  • Identify and collaborate with innovative suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and service while driving product development and innovation.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams (R&D, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) to meet business goals, deliver new products on time, and drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) improvements.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team, manage supplier performance, and establish processes for continuous improvement, risk management, and compliance

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration or Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain
  • Experience in Contract Negotiation
  • Proficiency with English and proficiency in an Asian language such as Chinese preferred
  • Travel is required up to 30%
  • Work experience within manufacturing of products related to home improvement, appliances, fixtures, kitchen, bathroom product industries
