Responsibilities

When assigned as PIC for a trip, a Captain assumes command responsibility for the aircraft and crew and is operationally responsible to the Chief Pilot.

* Work within Meijer Aviation to maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support customer service.

* Ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft. Compute aircraft weight and balance and aircraft performance.

* Flight plan using current weather conditions, forecasts, trends, NOTAMS, TFR'S for points of departure, destination and alternates along the route of flight.

* Ensure that all pilot qualifications and documentation is current and meets regulations for federal and state operations.

* Participate in Meijer Aviation's Safety Management System.

* Address passenger needs such as security requirements, ground transportation, catering, and baggage.

Qualifications

* Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience required.

* Second-Class Medical Certificate

* Airline Transport Pilot license

* Valid Passport or ability to obtain valid passport.

* 4000 TT/2000 turbine power, multi-engine.
