Mountain Youth Academy (a UHS company) is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team! Come make a difference in the life of a child and love what you do!! ***This role requires a successful background check, fingerprinting and employment verification*** Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 120-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent patients. https://mountainyouthacademy.net/ POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the full life cycle of the employee including the organization and employee file maintenance. This position coordinates and delivers the new hire training for all new hires and oversees the adherence of the on-boarding strategy. This position manages the credentialling process and the ongoing maintenance of job descriptions, policies, guides, service excellence and years of service awards while providing support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves of absences, workers compensation management and employee general concerns. This position works directly with first line supervisors and management to resolve human resource related issues and will conduct investigations as assigned by the HR Market Director.
