Position Summary

Work as part of PPS team. Work with planning team and Pharma Compounding, Pharma Packaging and Synovex (PPS) Team Leaders to prioritize production schedules for PPS. Print batch records utilizing computer programs. Work closely with Controlled Printed Materials personnel to streamline preparation activities for PPS. Purchase materials for PPS and Bio Packaging. Demonstrate good communication skills. Assist with bill of materials, product recipe builds, and MUV analysis. Assist with packaging projects and new product launches as needed.

Hours: 1st shift, Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Position Responsibilities

Record Keeping and Documentation
* Maintain and complete accurate records (timecards, batch records, logbooks, etc.).

Systems
* Use PW program to generate, populate and print Batch Records
* Master Index - revise, update SKU related data as needed
* SAP - perform transactions needed
* SAP - Perform MUV analysis and recommend BOM and recipe changes
* Ariba - Order expense based materials as needed
* ETS - Manage / complete change control
* Veeva Vault - Author and update SOPs, Batch Records, etc.

SOPs / cGMPs
* Follow all SOPs/cGMPs applicable to the area.
* Apply proper housekeeping techniques.
* Follow proper dress and secondary gowning policy.

Decision Making -- Demonstrated ability to:
* Delegate questionable issues upward.
* Follow directions either written, or oral.
* Know when to stop the process for anomalies.
* Learn to identify "out-of-spec" material.

Process
* Familiar with production/ process flow.
* Know proper staging and storage location for supplies and equipment.
* Learn key terminology associated with PPS Manufacturing.

Communications
* Communicate effectively with peers and supervisor.
* Apply appropriate communication techniques for teamwork.

Personal Computer Skills
* Perform PC tasks.

Safety
* Read and interpret Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs).
* Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per SOPs, i.e., safety shoes, safety glasses, respirators, gloves, hearing protection, etc.

Education and Experience

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Language skills - able to read and interpret procedures.
  • Math Skills - ability to apply general math skills including applying the metric system to assigned process calculations.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical school certificate, or 1-2 yrs. college.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in SAP, PW, Master Index, ETS and other programs.

Physical Position Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work

Ability to work flexible hours and overtime.
