About the role

This Information Technology position, Sr. Manager Application Systems, partners with the Finance organization and will play a key role in leading and supporting major projects and workstreams. The role is responsible for performing gap analysis and solution design to ensure technology solutions support the Finance organization's goals and objectives. The Sr. Manager Application Systems is a subject matter expert of financial systems and processes, responsible for gathering and assessing business requirements and translating them into optimal solutions. This role will work closely within internal (on-site and remote) customers on planning, executing and leading project workstreams to deliver value through new capabilities.

This position requires a highly motivated, proactive team player with the leadership, collaboration, and communication skills necessary to forge a partnership with the Finance business areas. The Sr. Manager Application Systems will be a member of the IT Enterprise Functions team and report directly to the Sr. Technical Director.

Work Location: Morristown, NJ
Work Schedule: Hybrid (3days in office 2 days from home)

Accountabilities

* Partner with business leaders to drive business value and lower costs

* Recommend new technology solutions, architecture, and processes

* Drive the technical deliveryof new solutions and major enhancements

* Design, develop and implementation support of new solutions for the Finance organization

* Ensures consistency by meeting project commitments of delivering on scope, schedule, and budget

Position Requirements

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in information systems, finance, business administration or related field

* Must have 7+ years of experience as a financial systems lead or manager facilitating the design, development and implementation of business initiatives and projects

* Show complete understanding of Master Data Management across financial areas

* Deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting and reporting processes

* Demonstrated experience in Oracle EPM Planning & Budgeting

* Experience in the design/development/support of cubes, dimensional hierarchies, data management rules, business rules, data forms, SmartView and EPM security

* Must have proven ability to analyze and streamline processes and have the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

* Must have strong project management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize.

* Must have strong written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings and effectively lead discussions

* Must have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management as well as vendors and contractors
