Job Overview:
This position involves building multiple new construction models along with the teardown, evaluation and repair of used equipment. Products consist of various tank mounted systems, priming valves, and commercial pumps. Product assembly requires the setting of heavy equipment on fabricated metal tanks to exacting tolerances. Product assembly for some models includes making sub level components / assemblies.

Responsibilities:
* Assemble units consisting of pumps, motors, exchangers, separators, and piping from engineering schematics, procedures, and detailed prints. Conduct required acceptance testing for assembled product hydro test, vacuum test, performance test, sound test, others tests as requested. Assemble various products as required by the customer including pumps, compressors, exhausters, priming valves, and systems. Receive and inspect returned pumps and systems, complete a tear down and evaluation.
* Access computer files containing available assembly instructions follow assembly steps to build final assembly that conforms to Nash and its customers requirements. Read shop packet, pull and pick parts in SAP Warehouse Management, record required part information per job requirements and quality control documentation.
* Provide detailed tear down and evaluation reports; identifying the condition of each component, the recommended disposition of each component submit completed tear down reports with detailed descriptions and pictures to provide a basis for repair cost quotation to the customer. Assist in receiving process as needed; measure components to affirm dimensional compliance. Participate in government inspections and audit, as necessary.
* Complete hydro testing on incoming parts using fixtures, develop fixture when one is not available. Operate crane and fork truck in order to move equipment to specific areas. Operate machinery and hand tools per their intended purpose. Conduct Cycle Counts.
* Follow all safety rules, environmental regulating procedures and utilize required safety equipment when appropriate.

Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Must be US Citizen and be able to obtain US Government Security clearances within 6 months of hire.
* 1+ years of expereince in Blueprint Reading

Core Competencies:
* Knowledge of piping systems such as threaded, flanged, socket weld and butt weld fittings.
* Ability to conduct visual inspection of components and systems
* Ability to hear very slight noise and differentiate the source of the noise
* Follow instructions from various sources, resolving conflicts through supervision.
* Ability to identify when there is a need to report suspicious activity.
* Experience with parts inspection, measuring, and machining is preferred.
* Ability to lift and maneuverer 50 pounds.

Preferences:
* US Navy or other military background
* 3+ years experience in setting of heavy equipment, assembly and pipefitting.
* Familiar with and ability to utilize all hand tools including wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, and steel banding.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
This position will be based at our site in Bentleyville, PA no travel.
