We are recruiting a post doctoral research associate to join a multidisciplinary, multi-institutional working on climate change impacts and adaptation related to Midwestern lakes and fisheries. We are collating data from multiple agencies and building statistical models to examine relationships between climate change fish growth and production, as well as lake thermal structure and fish thermal habitat. We are also engaging with stakeholders to identify and communicate the application of our results to building climate-smart management plans. The successful candidate will interact regularly with PIs from multiple institutions; federal, state, and tribal natural resource agency personnel; other post-docs, graduate students, and undergraduates; and local stakeholder groups. he Department of Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology (FWCB) comprises a multidisciplinary group of scholars working on applied and fundamental problems related to the ecology of free-ranging wild animals, management of harvested and invasive species, and documentation and conservation of biodiversity.
Pay and Benefits
