Job Description:
Operates and tends blending machines that mix and blend food ingredients to produce seasonings/flavor systems. Observes mixing to ensure thorough blending and that blends adhere to safety, quality protocols and customer requirements. The following are basic requirements for all Blending positions: * Ability to read and write instructions in English * Demonstrated 1 year of manufacturing experience - preferred * Ability to pass strength test with a score of 200 or higher * Requires repetitive lifting of up to 50lbs, up to 100lbs in a team lift and rolling drums up to 250lbs occasionally * Stacking of bags 5 feet high weighing up to 50 lbs. each * Position is exposed to hazards of an industrial environment including noise, dust, hazardous materials, machinery, including platforms and ladders, and lift equipment * Exposure to all allergens on an occasionally basis
