Smith College: Massachusetts: Department of Chemistry Location Northampton, MA Open Date Feb 11, 2025 Description The Department of Chemistry at Smith College invites applications for two benefits-eligible, two-year positions at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2025. Teaching responsibilities for these positions will include introductory general chemistry (CHM 111) and organic chemistry I (CHM 222) along with the associated laboratory courses (CHM 111L and 222L). Other courses may be taught depending upon the candidate's field of specialization. Candidates should have a strong foundation in chemistry and those with teaching experience are encouraged to apply. Ph.D. in Chemistry or a relevant field is expected by the time of appointment. Candidates from groups underrepresented in Chemistry are encouraged to apply.
