We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Scientist with significant experience in spatial transcriptomics to join our cutting-edge research team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, execution, and analysis of experiments employing advanced spatial transcriptomics technologies, contributing to high-impact research in cancer biology and molecular profiling. The candidate will integrate clinical medicine and biology with the spatial transcriptomics data generated for these projects.
Key Responsibilities: 1.Experimental Design and Execution: oDevelop and implement spatial transcriptomics workflows using platforms such as NanoString GeoMx, CosMx, Xenium, and similar cutting-edge technologies. oPerform staining, hybridization, imaging, and Next-Gen sequencing to generate high-resolution spatial transcriptomics data. 2.Data Analysis and Interpretation: oProcess, analyze and visualize large-scale spatial transcriptomic datasets using bioinformatics tools and pipelines. oIntegrate spatial data with clinical datasets to extract meaningful biological insights. 3.Collaboration and Mentorship: oCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Physicians, bioinformaticians, and clinical researchers, to drive research objectives. oProvide training and guidance to junior researchers and technicians in spatial transcriptomics methodologies. 4.Research and Innovation: oContribute to the development of novel spatial transcriptomic techniques and applications. oPrepare scientific manuscripts, grant proposals, and presentations for internal and external collaborators.
