Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to be based out of our Harvey, IL, Dallas, TX or Weatherford, TX. Reporting to the Pricing Manager- HDPE, this person will be responsible for pricing HDPE Products. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in pricing or inside sales.

What you'll do:



  • Quotations in Saleforce (CPQ) and will be the single point of contact for group of agents.
  • One face to our agents or customers with complete market intelligence.
  • Establish standard work and documentation.
  • Utilization of advanced analytics to execute sales and margin plans by product lines.
  • Achieve targets and KPI goals established by Pricing Leader and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to do day to day quotations to customers. Be able to WIN projects by quick turnaround on quotes but at the same time achieving BU profitability goal.
  • Analyze market trends, demand fluctuations, competitor availability and competitor product line positioning - stay informed about changes in customer preferences.
  • Develop segmented pricing strategies based on customer segments, geography, or product lines.
  • Working with BU specific pricing teams to optimize discount structure by product line.


What you'll bring:



  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • 5-7 years of pricing or inside sales experience.
  • Be able to negotiate and offer complete basket of products.
  • Understands the balance between Pricing, Volume, Mix of products and Profitability.
  • Experience with JDE and Salesforce is a plus.


Within 3 months, you'll:



  • Complete your Atkore immersion program
  • Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore's strategy.
  • Gain an understanding of data and tools.


Within 6 months, you'll:



  • Partnering with Business unit to get an understanding of how pricing works.
  • Deep dive doing quotations for all product lines for specific region.
  • Be able to maintain pricing in Saleforce (CPQ).


Within 12 months, you'll:



  • Expert Pricer for your specific region with complete market intelligence.
  • Complete understanding of competition for HDPE Products.
  • Be able to balance between price, volume and profitability.
  • Establish standard work and documentation.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $79,840 - $109,780. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
