Sr. Qualification Test Engineer

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for a Sr. Qualification Test Engineer to support STRIKE Test and Evaluation Team. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Responsible for designing and executing Qualification test plans to validate the functionality and quality of complex Army missile systems.
• Lead and support component, subsystem, and system-level qualification testing; test types may include Environmental, EMI/EMC, Safety, Human Factors, Live Fire.
• Evaluate systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD).
• Identify potential weapon system issues and defects by performing tests on the system's features.
• Report findings to ensure the final product meets specifications, working closely with development teams across the product lifecycle.
• This position involves physically climbing on top of military vehicles and weapon systems.

Required Experience:

• BS or BA degree.
• 10 years test and evaluation experience.
• 2 years experience in weapon system qualification testing (can be part of the 10 years above).
• Must be a US Citizen and have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.
