General Summary....

The Continuous Improvement Coordinator will support workforce optimization throughout supply chain logistics. This role is responsible for analyzing and improving current work processes, measuring and documenting best practices, leading key initiatives and supporting business activities as needed. Assists with the implementation of goals and strategies for improving the operations and process within the organization. Evaluates continuous improvement activities and implements plans to optimize performance.

This position will be responsible for.....

  • Generate and publish daily/weekly results/dashboard to Operations.
  • Use reporting tools to support Labor Management, Leaders of Standard Work, Performance Coaching effectiveness scorecard and trends.
  • Maintain current Labor Management, Performance Coaching and Leaders of Standard Work data.
  • Conduct ongoing communication and status updates across sites.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional resources (internal and external).
  • Train teammates on the use of the Labor Management, Workforce Optimization program.
  • Support Field Financial Management.
  • Manage own projects to completion, reaching expected deliverables with oversight from leadership.
  • Develop recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities provided from tools and support implementation of recommendations. Create and manage a metrics driven quality management system. Create formal written marketing materials around the quality management system, metrics, and improvements.
  • Ensure completion of internal audits with focal point in developing quality plans and procedures to ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are implemented, understood, and followed as well as check whether system is in conformance with the documented procedure.
  • Interact with the management to understand the existing process and document any change.
  • Assist in the development of team members.
  • Lead detailed process analysis using statistical tools.
  • Manage large improvement projects.
  • Monitor effectiveness of the quality assurance process/ workflow.
  • Facilitate project identification and completion with facility champions, process owners and project teams.
  • Present data and solutions to Customers, both internal and external.

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • In lieu of degree, high school diploma or GED and 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams
  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service driven
  • Analytical and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong team player
