Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center pprovides a variety of elective and emergency cardiac diagnostic and treatment procedures in its state-of-the-art, computerized Cardiac Catherization Laboratories (Cath Lab). Our cardiology team provides highly skilled care by board-certified Johns Hopkins Cardiologists and specialty trained nurses and Radiology Technologists who are committed to working cooperatively with patients and their families.

We are currently searching for a Supervisor Cardiovascular Technologist to lead our elite team. As the Supervisor Cardiovascular Rad Tech, you will:



  • Oversee and act as a resource for staff
  • Order supplies and ensure adequate inventory
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Work on Performance Improvement projects, operating plans, capital equipment proposals, and staff performance reviews

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Graduate of an accredited radiology technologist program
  • Three (3) years of cardiovascular radiologic technologist experience
  • Current licensure as a Radiology Tech with the State of Maryland Board of Physicians
  • Current ARRT certification
  • Current certification in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography from ARRT is preferred
  • Current certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography from ARRT or Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive specialist is preferred
  • Current CPR card. ACLS is preferred.
  • Completion of HCGH cardiac monitor certification within one (1) year of hire

Full Time (40 hours)

Salary Range: Minimum 49.07/hour - Maximum 85.89/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
