The Opportunity:

As an Entra ID Engineer, you have the skills and experience to keep hackers from taking data and breaking processes. We are looking for someone like you to help our clients meet their missions without disruption.

We are seeking an Entra ID Engineer who will be instrumental in developing and managing SSO solutions for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The candidate will be responsible for integration and secure data exchange between our mission partners and VA's identity management systems. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in Entra ID to lead our technical delivery team along with our Entra ID Architect and bring value to our VA client. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with VA's identity management policies.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with SSO solutions, including implementation with Entra ID

  • Experience implementing Identity solutions in the cloud

  • Experience being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in an environment for coordinating technical efforts and resolving issues across multiple teams

  • Experience using various technologies, such as REST, Web API, SQL, ORM, IoC, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and CI/CD

  • Experience developing scripts using Python, Jython, Java, and Shell Scripts on Linux systems

  • Knowledge of authentication protocols, such as OpenID Connect (OIDC), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), Kerberos, OAuth 2.0, and LDAP

  • Knowledge of infrastructure and Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles

  • Ability to design and implement complex integration solutions

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working in an agile delivery team

  • Experience in scripting

  • Experience with encryption and key management tools, processes, and procedures

  • Knowledge of various Access Control Frameworks, including NIST 800-63

  • Possession of problem-solving and communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

  • Certifications of Microsoft Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500) or AWS Certified Security Specialty Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
