Education Details: BS or Equivalent

Skills: Java, J2EE, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and Microservices, AWS.

Job Locations: Charlotte, NC

Key Responsibilities:

* Mentor a team of 4 developers, providing technical guidance and support.
* Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
* Architect and implement solutions on AWS, utilizing services such as Lambda, Containers, API Gateways, and Terraform.
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
* Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of applications.
* Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
* Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Senior Technology Lead or similar role.
* Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
* Extensive experience with AWS services, including Lambda, Containers, API Gateways, and Terraform.
* Solid understanding of cloud computing and AWS cloud architecture.
* Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Salary:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
