The Respiratory Care Clinical Educator utilizes respiratory arts and sciences to independently work with an interdisciplinary team to provide expertise in respiratory care education, educational design, and evidence-based practice. The Respiratory Care Clinical Educator works to provide quality patient management, education, and facilitates the delivery of comprehensive respiratory care to patients and families. Major responsibilities and functional areas include, but are not limited to, demonstrated leadership in the following: clinical practice, consultation, education, evidence base practice, research, and quality improvement with a focus on optimal patient outcomes and dissemination of information. The Respiratory Care Clinical Educator reports to the Department Director in advising/collaborating on education strategies aimed at improving patient safety and clinical effectiveness. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing leadership in the areas of education, professional development, and evidence-based practice and quality, assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating programs specific to competency, orientation, in-service education, career development and role transition for clinically focused respiratory care providers. EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care or Health-Care related field. Master's Degree in Healthcare related field preferred. Salary Information Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $73,171.39 to $109,757.08Hourly Salary Range: $35.18 to $52.77 Benefits Information Here, you matter.
