Enterprise System Engineer

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS MAY INCLUDE:

• Diagrams and documents system solutions, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Analyzes business requirements and designs comprehensives, cost-effective enterprise level solutions.
• Performs complex systems design, implementation, and integration functions.
• Assist with developing the long-term roadmap.
• Provides specific and relevant reporting to stakeholders in support of root cause analysis and platform performance
• Supports and maintains systems and applications and is responsible for daily troubleshooting.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with design, implementation, and support of operating systems and applications in a complex, multi-platform environment.
• Experience with industry standard OS such as RedHat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, ESX/ESXi, and Windows is required.
• Demonstrated ability with programming and scripting languages. Experience with the following is highly desirable - Bash, Perl & Python. Experience with Git, Ansible, and Terraform are recommended.
• Demonstrated ability working with various database platforms such as Oracle, MySQL, and Postgres recommended.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present complex ideas and designs to a variety of technical or non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with Azure, AWS, and GCP is recommended.
• Proficiency in Agile Development, DevOPs and CI/CD is recommended.
• Understanding of security and vulnerability best practice and design implications is required.
• Degree in computer science or a similar field.
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
