Department of Anesthesiology Job Description
The University of Missouri School of Medicine (MU SOM) invites applications for an Assistant Research Professor position in the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine. We seek driven, innovative candidates holding an advanced degree (PhD, MD/PhD, or DVM/PhD) with research programs focused on the intersection of vascular biology and kidney disease. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in Anesthesiology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Cardiovascular Medicine, or Nephrology who are ready to contribute to and help lead discovery-driven and translational research initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in our diverse, collaborative lab group, with ongoing research in the fundamental and pathological mechanisms underlying vascular and kidney disease.
