Buckeye Partners is currently seeking an 811 Damage Prevention Coordinator with 2+ years' Right of Way or Real Estate experience in the Oil & Gas Industry to join our team! Role Summary: Responsible for supporting and leading the day-to-day operations of the 811 Damage Prevention Team. within an assigned geographical area of responsibility by safely processing, analyzing and disposing of One Call excavation encroachment tickets. The 811 Damage Prevention Coordinator role performs the Key Accountabilities independently and without close supervision. Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:
Safely process and screen one call tickets, individually and as a team, by utilizing IRTH and all other available resources such as ArcGIS, GeoHub, Alignment Sheets, As Built Surveys and Google Earth. Dispatch possible Involved One Call Tickets to the appropriate Field Operations location for further investigation and damage prevention procedures. Follow up with Field Operations to ensure One Call and Aerial Patrol Surface Response tickets are safely processed in the field and ensure field compliance with Damage Prevention Procedure Manual procedures.
Supervise and monitor the Design One Call Ticket process and coordinate reviews between Field Operations and the Encroachment Control and Review Program within an assigned geographical area of responsibility.
Communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with Buckeye Field Operations personnel, State One Call Center staff and Buckeye and third-party excavation contractors in protecting company assets from damage.
Respond in a timely manner to numerous calls and email inquiries received daily and direct to the appropriate Buckeye contact.
Accurately process invoices thru the accounts payable program ADP in a timely manner.
Effectively handle and resolve internal/external customer service and Field Operation requests, excavator issues and complaints. Follow up with team members to ensure customer service satisfaction and improvement.
Coordinate, assist and support continuous mapping data in Irth Utilisphere and update mapping data in a timely manner on all newly constructed and acquired assets and facilities.
Develop expert proficiency with State One Call Center rules/regulations/procedures and ensure company compliance with State requirements.
Develop expert proficiency with understanding with all Buckeye pipelines, terminals and facility locations in all states of operation.
Develop and demonstrate expert proficiency with IRTH Utilisphere Excavation and Aerial Patrol Ticketing Management System and associated features and functions.
Prepare and distribute monthly One Call quality control district reports and 811 Damage Prevention updates as needed to District Directors.
Lead and coordinate continue improvement projects and special requests as needed.
Lead and coordinate Irth Utilisphere, JDE Work Order and One Call Field Audits of completed State One Calls excavation tickets and Aerial Patrol Surface Responses and follow up with Field Operations to ensure full regulatory compliance with damage prevention procedures. Perform Field Operations Audit of damage prevention procedures as needed or assigned.
Act as the back up to the Team Lead of the 811 Damage Prevention Team as assigned by the Team Lead or the Senior Manager and be able to effectively perform all the duties of the 811 Damage Prevention Team Lead in his/her absence. This duty requires carrying a company cell phone/notebook computer and performing the role of the Team Lead after hours when the Team Lead is unavailable.

Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree preferred or Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
2 to 5+ years' experience in a utility operations or damage prevention environment or related petroleum industry experience strongly preferred.
Experience in pipeline operations or a similar industry highly desired.
Expert knowledge of mapping or broad geographical knowledge preferred. Must have the ability to read, interpret, and analyze various types of maps and design plans.
IRTH Utilisphere One Call Excavation Ticket Management System software or similar web-based ticketing program experience preferred.
Must have the ability to navigate basic computer applications/systems with little or no direction.
Proficiency using Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Office experience required.
Advanced GIS and Irth Utilisphere Training Required
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Incumbents must be willing to learn a variety of new, unique right of way information.
The 811 one call screening operation is a highly complex operation requiring excellent communication and the ability to make quick decisions. In order to be successful in this position, one must possess:
