NextEra Energy is seeking an experienced and motivated Salesforce DevOps Lead to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will take ownership of our Salesforce environment, manage and optimize our GITHUB ACTIONS pipeline, lead Salesforce releases, and oversee design and code review forums. This role is also responsible for mastering and executing effective change management and release communication strategies. Responsibilities: *Own and manage the Salesforce environment, ensuring its stability, scalability, and performance. *Design, implement, and optimize Salesforce development and deployment pipelines using GITHUB ACTIONS. *Lead and oversee Salesforce release processes, ensuring timely and error-free deployments. *Facilitate design and code review forums to ensure quality and best practices in development. *Implement and manage effective change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions. *Communicate release plans, changes, and updates effectively to all stakeholders. *Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions. *Monitor and troubleshoot Salesforce environments, identifying and resolving issues proactively. *Stay updated with Salesforce platform updates, best practices, and industry trends to continually enhance our DevOps processes. *Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus. *Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce administration and development. *Proven experience with GITHUB ACTIONS or similar CI/CD tools. *Extensive experience with Salesforce release management and change management processes. *Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including but not limited to Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs. *Excellent understanding of version control systems, particularly GIT. *Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. *Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. *Experience leading code review forums and promoting best practices in coding and design. *Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. *Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, or Salesforce Certified DevOps Engineer are highly desirable.
