Sr. Test Automation Developer

As a Sr. Test Automation Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring enterprise system quality. You will play a key role in testing SAP centered enterprise systems projects, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our business processes. This position will be located in Normal, IL OR Plymouth, MI and will report to our Sr. ERP Developer.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom SAP solutions across various modules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to understand requirements, to develop automation scripts to meet the needs of an exponentially growing organization.
• Work with stakeholders in IT SAP Support team on execution of automated test scenarios for weekly release preparation.
• Develop scripts for mass test data creation to support projects in SAP and Enterprise Apps environments.
• Manage test automation framework that supports development from team of approximately 3 developers.
• Provide work assignment and technical guidance for test developers including contractors.
• Support SAP Functional colleagues with self-execution of automation scripts.
• Engage with other technical teams at Rivian in designing and developing fully integrated solutions based on industry best practices.

Staying abreast with latest technologies for testing in enterprise environment.

• 5+ years of experience as a test developer or testing lead.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Implementation experience across multiple modules of SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of GUI Testing and scripting particularly with Visual Basic.
• Good to have hands on knowledge of version management tools such as Git.
• Good to have knowledge of test management frameworks like Panaya, Zephyr for JIRA and UFT
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment

Salary Range: USD - $79,700 - $99,600 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
