Lumber Mill Production Operator

The Lumber Mill Production Operator is responsible for
general clean up around the mill and equipment. Duties include but not limited
to:
Utilize tools to
clean up in mill such as brooms, shovels, and rakes.
Perform daily
clean up tasks around equipment in sawmill.
Learn various jobs
within the mill to have the ability to move up and/or break out operators.
Operate mobile
equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- Willing to work
any shift including weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed. - Commitment to
safety. - Excellent
attendance record. - Good Communication
skills. - Ability to work in
a team environment. - Ability to learn
and adapt to change. - Ability to adhere
to all safety policies and regulations including wearing safety equipment. - Ability to work in
noisy environment. - Ability to lift at
least 40 pounds. - Ability to work
from elevated positions using required safety gear and procedures. - Ability to perform
tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or
pulling for extended periods of time. - Able to work in a
variety of environmental conditions. - High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience working in a Manufacturing environment.
- Sawmill experience preferred.
