TEKsystems has a client that is looking for an Infrastructure Technical Lead to join their overall IT group. This person will be working on a large scale project as there is an initiative to work to separate their infrastructure environment. They will be primarily focused on migrating both cloud and infrastructure environments to their own Azure environment and this candidate will need to spear head the design, implementation, and migration. They will be working with a team of 3 to handle this work and will be expected to be the thought leadership behind the migration plans, execution, and design. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. The candidate will need to be able to work in a project environment, often collaborating globally to implement results. Skills Cloud, Migration, Infrastructure, Azure, GCC Cloud, Tenant migration, Azure GCC, Azure Migration, PowerShell, BitTitan, Entra ID, Azure Networking, Tenant to Tenant migration Additional Skills & Qualifications - Someone with experience planning, building, and executing in performing tenant to tenant migrations within Azure - Experience with setting up, migrating, and building up a Microsoft Government Community Cloud tenant and environment. - Design end-to-end tenant migration approach, utilizing knowledge from cross-functional IT teams - Evaluate new technologies and vendors to identify potential improvements to the infrastructure. - Lead a team of infrastructure engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and performance management. - Ability to lead all technical aspects of migrating data to a new Azure tenant, including design of the migration strategy, overseeing implementation, managing technical workstreams, and ensuring a smooth transition while adhering to security and compliance standards. - Oversee the implementation of infrastructure changes, including upgrades, migrations, and patching. - Deep understanding of IT infrastructure technologies including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud computing - Strong knowledge in Azure services including tenant setup, tenant to tenant migration, Microsoft Government Community Cloud (GCC), Azure migration, Entra ID, Azure networking - Experience with MS migration tools (BitTitan, etc.) - Outstanding leadership and organizational skills This role is predominantly remote, but there is an expectation of going onsite once a month for a day or more in Southfield. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
