Description

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a IAM Governance and Identity Lifecycle Management Architect to work in our Identify and Access department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule remote with every other Friday off. You will report to the IAM Lead and IT End-user Experience Manager.

This is an IAM Identity Governance and Identity Lifecycle Management role to support efforts across multiple Active Directory domains and cloud environments. You will be responsible for technical design, process improvement, planning, guidance, and the development and implementation of applications and integrations related to identity governance, which includes collaboration in design, development, architecture implementation, integrated business process, applications and scripting creation, and cybersecurity solutions to meet mission needs and maintain understanding of IAM direction and standards. Works is performed as part of the IAM team as well as independently with direct oversight provided by the IAM Lead and IT End-user Experience Manager.

Responsibilities Include:




  • Coordinate daily authorized tasks.



  • Identify equipment and facility needs.



  • Communicate with IAM Lead and Operations manager, partners/customers, and staff for safe, secure, cost-effective, and compliant operations.



  • Work in collaboration with other teams to deliver an effective IAM program.



  • Communicate and work with peers cordially, collaboratively, and objectively in focus of meeting INL goals.



  • Support identity, credential, and access management solutions following US Department of Energy and other federal guidance.



  • Perform work according to standard methodologies for identity management, access controls, and credential integration for multi-factor authentication (MFA).



  • Communicate with Lead/Manager or other appropriate managers to identify opportunities for improvement.



  • Mentor team members, providing technical leadership and promoting a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:




  • Level 3: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 5 years' experience of relevant experience; OR advanced degree in a technical discipline and 2 years of relevant experience; OR 11 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.



  • Level 4: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 9 years' experience of relevant experience; OR advanced degree in a technical discipline and 6 years of relevant experience; OR 15 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.



  • This position requires US Citizenship.



    The ideal candidate will possess:


  • Understanding of vendor supplied IAM software (Sailpoint ICS, OneID, or Critical Path)



  • Cyber security and information assurance regulations such as FISMA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX, SP, FIPS, and RMF



  • Experience developing and integrating systems to comply with NIST, Department of Energy (DOE), and other federal standards.



  • Familiarity with object and relational databases, especially SQL.



  • Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and X.509 standards, including operation Certificate Authorities.



  • Understand various programming technologies such as PowerShell, JSON, Python, or JavaScript.



  • Experience working directly with Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO) Management, and Single Sign-on (SSO).




Job Information:




  • The pay range for this position is: Level 3 ($93,204 - $191,076) / Level 4 ($111,888 - $229,284). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.



  • Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.
