Software Specialist

A Software Developer position in West Palm Beach, FL is currently available at Belcan. This is a full-time direct position with benefits, to be performed in-office along side a team of peers and onsite management. To be considered, you will need a Bachelor"s of Science Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a similar discipline, and 2 or more years of relevant experience. Entry-level and experienced candidates are being considered. In this role you will develop and integrate software for top-tier aerospace customers, in areas such as real-time embedded software, enterprise software, and software tools.

Job duties:
*Work in an Agile project framework, communicating regularly with team members and product owners
*Support development activities which align with your skillset
Required qualifications:
*BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar discipline
*2+ years of software development experience
*Proficiency in a variety of software lagauages (C/C++, C#, Java, Python, PyQT, Matlab, SQL)
*Proficiency in a variety of software development tools (GIT, BitBucket, SVN, Visual Studios, VxWorks, VectorCAST)
*Familiarity using Agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
*Due to the nature of the work performed, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Experience working DO-178 Level A programs
*Experience developing real-time embedded software
*Experience performing requirements-based testing

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $83,200 to $124,800. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
