Responsibilities

We currently have a great opportunity available for a Developer/Analyst, PI-PO. The Developer/Analyst, PI-PO will:

    Coordinate solution delivery by working with the SAP managers, analysts, and business associates, to design, develop, implement, test, deploy and provide support for synchronous and asynchronous interfaces between Client SAP instances and external/internal systems using the SAP PI/PO platform.
  • Evaluate, model and design interface objects from an Enterprise Service Architecture perspective to construct interfaces.
  • Use Application Link Enabling to exchange data among SAP instances.
  • Monitor production interfaces and address incidents and system critical defects within the SLAs.
  • Good understanding of integration strategy, design patterns and development standards/methodology to ensure consistency, quality, and reliability in the build of all solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Support the PI-PO system, including but not limited to, day-to-day operational support and implementation of new capabilities.
  2. Liaison with integration partners and internal team members to ensure successful implementations.
  3. Work closely with the appropriate IS/IT teams to ensure compliance with all Sysmex policies, procedures and technical best practices.
  4. Implement SAP JAVA software applications and interfaces.
  5. Develop, test, debug, implement, maintain and document interfaces using EDI, SAP Proxy, and IDOC technologies.
  6. Developing and maintaining SAP design and technical specification documents.
  7. Conducting unit, integration and release testing to validate functionality and provide support for end-users performing, acceptance testing activities.
  8. Communicate work and project status as required.
  9. Attend training as needed and deliver training and support as required.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Individual Education & Training Required for Position: Training required for this position is defined and governed in accordance to COP-0013 Associate Training and will be assigned in the LMS.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 5-10 years required experience in design and configuration in one or more SAP areas (e.g., SD, GTS, MM, WM, PM, QM, PP, FI, CO, HR). Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in PI-PO Server using Orchestrations, Mappings, and custom Adapters.
  • At least 2 full lifecycles of SAP PI implementation experience including:
    • Trading partner setup and testing.
    • Review of functional requirements and develop corresponding technical specifications.
    • ALE configuration, configuring Partner Profiles, RFC Destinations, Logical Systems.
    • Application security technologies and approaches.
  • Strong knowledge of PI-PO architecture, installation and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good knowledge of PI-PO best practices and PI-PO design patterns.
  • Ability to adhere to strict development standards and conduct code reviews.
  • Ability to build web services.
  • Proficient hands-on experience in implementing A2A and B2B integration using IDOC, RFC, JDBC, File, ABAP Proxy, AS2, SOAP, HTTP, HTTPS, REST, SFTP, FTP, FTPS and JMS MQ.
  • Proficient working experience in EDI implementation using SAP PI/PO.
  • Strong working experience in ABAP enhancements: ABAP Proxies, RFC, IDOC, CXML, ALE configuration, Partner profiles, Ports, error processing, troubleshooting.
  • Experience with designing and implementing interfaces using, Java mapping, XSLT mapping, graphical mapping, custom UDFs and adapter modules.
  • Experience in Alert Configuration and Inbound/Outbound queue prioritization and scheduling jobs in SAP PO.
  • Experience on PGP/GPG encryption and decryption process for implementing with vendor application.
  • Experience in using conversions Value Mapping, RFC Lookups and Parameterized Message Mapping.
  • Experience in developing Advanced UDFs using Result List, Container, Global Container, Abstract Trace and Accessing Adapter-Specific Attributes.
  • Knowledge in Java coding is essential to build custom UDFs and adapter modules as required by the interface.
  • Knowledge of SAP IDOC processing and monitoring services including the SAP PI IDOC sender and receiver adapters to transform messages from SAP IDOC to XML format.
  • Knowledge of SAP client / server proxy technology.
  • Familiarity with common integration data/file formats; XML, XSD, XSLT, CSV is required.
  • Cloud integration/API experience - Nice to Have.
  • Azure and SAP experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP's Cloud and on-premise solutions (ECC, S/4 HANA Cloud, SAP Cloud Platform) is beneficial.
  • Exposure to BPM and BRM.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with IS teams, business users and technical resources throughout the organization. Ability to effective communication with integration partners.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Solid work ethics and ability to use experience, judgement, and skills to work effectively as both a member of a team and independently.

The salary range for this role is $127,754 and $144,150. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision, and dental insurance), an annual incentive bonus, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees.
